And she's not just any girl; she also happens to be the girl who, in 2014 at age 15, became the center of a sex tape scandal after footage of her having sex with two Nebraska junior hockey players was circulated among the league and her peers.

The girl, who remains unnamed, turned over a hypodermic syringe in October, that she had found on her mother's nightstand. She informed Fargo police, to whom she gave the needle, that she was concerned her mother was using meth, given her mother's current physical state and recent behavior.

In February, the girl went to authorities again, giving a resource officer at Fargo South High School two residue-coated glass pipes she said were also from her mother's nightstand.

In the resulting raid on the family's home a week after the girl's second report, police found a baggie of methamphetamine, along with meth paraphernalia throughout the house -- all in areas accessible to the girl and her 11-year-old sister.

The mother, who also remains unnamed to protect the identities of her children, faces charges for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and endangering children.

A close friend of the mother's, on whom the mother tried to pin all of the guilt, faces the same possession charges.
