In Bismarck, Am I The Only One That Called The Number?
One of my favorite things to do is look at available homes and properties in the Bismarck/Mandan area
I might not be ready to buy or rent anything too elaborate, but I can sure dream, right? There are so many gorgeous homes that you can check out on zillow.com, you can surf around all day with loads of pictures from realtors to see and just imagine for yourself living in a mansion somewhere, right by a private lake, OR you can actually set the perimeters of your search to show you the largest scaled house or even the smallest - you get the idea, right?
So, could this actually be for real?
As I was exploring on Zillow, I typed in the search window for homes or properties listed up to $50K - Here is one of the first images that popped up:
I almost continued looking around until I was halted by the price of this large lot:
No way, really? Wait something must be missing, so I scrolled down for more information, surely I was not seeing what had to be clearly broken down for a naive person like me, but I didn't see it.
Well....what about a good old fashion phone call to the number that was listed?
Surely I wasn't going to be the first person that had one simple question - Dale answered my call within a couple of rings, and I proceeded to tell him that I had a rather dumb question.."Umm is that lot really only $6 dollars?" Turns out that it's per square foot - I declined to ask him how many feet are in an acre. Dale laughed and we both said our "Goodbyes"
