BURLINGTON, N.D. (AP) — Officials rebuilding a sports complex in Burlington that was wiped out by historic Souris River flooding two years ago have received a big financial boost.

The DeSour Valley Development Corp. has donated $100,000 to the Burlington Recreation Commission. Officials say it's enough to finish work restoring the concession stand, bathrooms and two baseball and softball fields at the Burlington Sports Complex.

Officials expect to plant grass in the coming weeks. A foundation already has been poured for the new concession building. Earlier donations provided money for playground equipment and chain-link fencing.

Officials expect about 700 youth to use the sports complex when it reopens next spring.
