On Wednesday, September 23 Gordmans hosted a media preview and shopping event where they presented a $2,500 check to Bismarck Public Schools. 

Gordmans' Partners in Education is a fundraising event that will directly benefit BPS. The Bismarck store chose Pioneer Elementary as its partner school. Superintendent Tamara Uselman was there to accept the check from Lisa Ballance, Gordmans District Manager.

Gordmans' guests can also donate to Bismarck Public Schools by purchasing 'helping hands' for $1. Others in attendance were Bismarck Manager Rocky Reddig, Bismarck Commissioner Parrell Grossman, and Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.

Gordmans is currently celebrating 100 years and over 100 stores. The store is now open to the public but its Grand Opening is Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26-27. Bismarck Guests can expect:

  • Free gifts to the first 300 guests on Saturday which includes a shopping tote with gifts and a Gordmans gift card worth up to $200.
  • Earn $10 in gMoney with a purchase of $50 or more.
  • Registration for Gordmans gift cards.

The new Gordmans store is located at Hay Creek Shops, 1449 East LaSalle Dr. in North Bismarck.
