North Dakota May Soon OK New Concealed Weapons Regs

A bill on the verge of passing in North Dakota will expand the areas in which it is legal to carry concealed weapons.

The new regulations will, of course, apply only to those with permits to carry concealed weapons.

The bill will allow the possessions of concealed firearms at political rallies, highway rest stops, concerts and in public parks.

The bill has passed the House and the Senate and is now waiting on Gov. Dalrymple's signature.

Representatives are also in talks to endorse a separate bill, which would make it legal for university employees and students to keep weapons in locked cars on campus.
