Same-Sex Couples to Marry Thursday at Clay Courthouse

Clay County Courthouse in Moorhead will open at 11:30 Wednesday night for couples who want to wed shortly after midnight Thursday — the first day same-sex couples can legally do so in Minnesota.

Eighteen area same-sex couples will be among the first to marry under the new law during a group ceremony.
