This is one of these topics where I need to tread carefully if you know what I mean.  Well, fear not, there will be no smut in this article, only the facts.  After all, we all do it, or most of us anyway.  It's only natural, right?  The deed, hooking up, bumping uglies, well, you get the idea.

According to an article on Four Loko, these are the hook-up hotspots in America.  The most sex-crazed states in the United States.  As you might have guessed living here in the conservative state that we do, North Dakota is not in the top 10, but we're not as far down the chart as you might think.  More on that in a moment.

Before I reveal where North Dakota ranks, let's look at the method behind the madness.  How did they determine which state likes to get their freak on the most?  Well, it's really quite simple, its based on google searches and certain keywords including:  “dating apps,” “best bars for singles,” “how to get more matches on Tinder,” “best pick-up lines,” “where to buy condoms,” "dating tips," "cities with the hottest guys," (Bismarck right?)  "best bars for hookups," etc.  All of the results are based on per capita.

The state that likes to get "Freaky" the most is Rhode Island coming in at number one.  A tiny state with BIG aspirations.  The rest of the top 5 include Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.  The state with the lowest libido is Mississippi at number 50!

So, how about North Dakota?  Home of Flasher, Cummings other sexually suggestive city names?  Number 34 was the best we could muster up.  Our neighboring states like Montana and Minnesota were much more in the mood.  Coming in at number 15 and 16 respectively.  South Dakota was much more of a prude at number 43.
