Bummed about the burn ban? No worries. There's still a ton of activities in Bismarck-Mandan to celebrate the 4th of July, including fireworks!

It's one of the best weekends of the year in Bismarck-Mandan. With the 4th of July on a Tuesday, you'll find plenty of activities around town.

  • Mandan Rodeo

    July 1 - 4

    It's the 138th annual Mandan Rodeo July 1st through 4th. It remains the largest 4th of July celebration in the area.

    There is something for all to enjoy at the rodeo including Art in the Park, the Classic Car Parade and a full rodeo performance every evening! New this year, XTreme Bulls on July 1st!

    Come on Sunday, July 2nd and get a free meal from Townsquare Media! We will be there at 5 p.m. and will serve Cloverdale hotdogs and sides until we run out.

  • Party At The Bowl

    July 2

    Remember Party on the Prairie? Well, it's back with an all new name and location!

    The Party at the Bowl will be held on Grass Bavendick Field on the west end of the MDU Community Bowl in Bismarck.

    The show will begin with Pop ROCKS followed by Free Fallin, a traveling tribute to Tom Petty. Gates and beer gardens open at 5 p.m. and music will start at 6.

    All ages are invited, must be 21+ to drink. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at all MVP Gas Stations, M&H Mandan, Rock Point, Pita Pit, & Grand Junction Subs.

  • Friends & Family Night at the Larks

    July 3

  • Art in the Park

    July 3 - 4

    Now in its 41st year, Art in the Park will be held in Robert Dykshoorn Park and Heritage Park in Mandan which is along the parade route.

    With over 150 art, craft and food vendors, you are bound to find something unique. Not to mention, Art in the Park was named the N.D. Tourism Event of the Year in 2014!

  • July 4th Road Roace

    July 4

    Kick off your 4th of July with a nice run to benefit the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. To date, the 4th of July Road Race has contributed nearly $20,000 to the fight against cancer.

  • Mandan Independence Day Parade

    July 4

    A tradition since 1881! The Mandan Parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4th

    Free busing from three different locations and the Mandan Middle School will begin at 7 a.m. The parade will begin approximately at 10:10 a.m. so arrive early to get your spot as thousands of spectators will fill the streets of Mandan.

  • Fourth of July Spectacular

    July 4

    The Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra will perform with special guests beginning at 5:30 p.m.

    There will be a brief ceremony at 8:45, followed by the symphony performance with special guests Six Appeal at 9

    Fireworks will begin around 10:15 p.m. so bring your blankets! Concessions will also be served.
