Carson Wentz is a Finalist for FedEx Player of the Year (Which is Voted for by Fans)
The jury is still out on whether or not Carson Wentz will be this year's league MVP which we have no control over. But we do have control over the FedEx Players of the Year.
Today (Jan. 5), the three finalists for the FedEx Air Player of the Year were announced and along with Carson Wentz, fans can choose to vote for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith or New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady.
There are also three separate finalists for the FedEx Ground player of the year and those are Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell and Rams running back Todd Gurley.
You can vote now through Feb. 1 at 2pm Central Time here.
The winners will be announced at the NFL Honors Ceremony which airs the night before the Super Bowl (Feb. 3) on NBC.
FedEx will donate $50,000 to the USO in the winning player's names.
Wentz finished this year with 33 touchdown passes, the second most in the league despite missing the final three games of the season. The 33 touchdowns are also an Eagles franchise record. Wentz also threw for 3,296 yards and had the NFL's fourth best passer rating at 101.9.
