Ex North Dakota State Football Player Named Ugliest QB in The NFL
I received a press release from the website gambling.com today that caught my eye. "The Most (and Least) Handsome QB's in the National Football League". My email is filled with NFL emails of late. Week 1 picks, power rankings, upsets of the week, and now the drop-dead gorgeous quarterbacks in the NFL. Reason being of course? The NFL season kicks off tomorrow night for real when the Buffalo Bills face off against the defending Super Bowl Champions the Los Angeles Rams.
First, let me tell you how they came up with their list of all 32 NFL Quarterbacks from first to worst in the looks department. They used a facial recognition app called Golden Ratio App that determines if you are hot or not. An app you can even download for your phone if you are curious how you would rate?
What caught my eye about this article was a former North Dakota State University Bison was named the least attractive of all the starting NFL quarterbacks in the league. That narrows it down to two. The new QB for the Washington Commanders Carson Wentz and the newly named starting quarterback for the San Fransisco 49ers Trey Lance.
I guess in some sort of an upset, the very young QB Trey Lance who is only 22 was named the least attractive or ugliest of all 32 starting quarterbacks.
Kind of harsh I know, but Trey scored the lowest of all QB's according to the app.
Other notables in the survey:
Kirk Cousins from the Minnesota Vikings came in at #18 and former Bison and Bismarck Century star Carson Wentz was just behind Cousins at #19. The new quarterback for the Denver Broncos Russell Wilson came in at #6.
The Top 5 Best Looking QB's in the NFL:
#5 Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks
#4 Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers
#3 Tom Brady from the Tampa Bay Bucs
#2 Baker Mayfield from the Carolina Panthers
#1 Joe Burrow from the Cinncinatti Bengals. Joe, by the way, spent some time living in North Dakota growing up. You can read about that here.
