National Weather Service Issues Excessive Heat Advisory for Bis-Man

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK has issued an EXCESSIVE HEAT ADVISORY FOR the Bismarck-Mandan area for today until 7 PM this evening.

Heat indices will be near triple digits today with the actual  air temperature near the mid 90's. This could be the final stretch of heat as the area will slide into average temperatures into the weekend.

Be advise to check on the elderly, take breaks if you're working outside, drink plenty of fluids and make sure that you're pets have shade and water.
