A fire Wednesday morning, April 6th, that destroyed a home in Bismarck was caught on tape by a resident, who happened to be driving by at the time.

The resident posted the video to social media and gave us permission to use it.

You can see the intense footage above, in which the resident slowly creeps by the house. As she's rolling by, small explosions erupt from the home.

Those working in the area said they heard explosions, which this video helps to confirm.

As we reported earlier, the Bismarck Fire Department responded to the fire, located at 9th and Capitol Ave., at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. A man, his two granddaughters, and the family dog were able to escape the blaze.

The Bismarck Fire Department was able to put the fire out and crews began a complete overhaul of the home in the afternoon, according to KFYR-TV.

You can see pictures from the fire HERE.
