I came across a shocking statistic this morning that caused me to do a double-take...

...for it shocked and surprised me. We run across so many things in the news sometimes, that certain stories get by us, but how could this NOT be shocking? I'm aware that children and teens go missing from time to time- we hear about it almost immediately, and then most of them usually are found shortly after. However, you'll be surprised just how many are STILL missing.

I overheard someone talking the other day about "persons gone missing"

This person was telling someone about something he saw on social media about "Human Trafficking"  - According to dhs.gov "Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide – including right here in the United States" - There is no information about if that is the reason WHY these children are missing  -

In the last 6 months, there are over 26 children missing in North Dakota

In the last 6 months, there are STILL over 26 children missing in North Dakota. According to missingpersons.nd.gov  -  Here is a list of the names, if you recognize any of them, and have any information at all, please contact the authorities.

      Shocking Isn't it?
