First Responder Recognition – Cyrus S.
Are you ready for another week of First Responder Recognition? We have got a lot of love for our firefighters in Bismarck-Mandan. The firefighter nominated this week is Cyrus S.
Cyrus must have been born to become a firefighter, because he's following in his father Frank's footsteps. Before going to school to be a firefighter, Cyrus attended Bismarck High School, where he graduated with honors. He went on to Northland Technical Community College to pursue his firefighting dreams.
It wouldn't be until eight years later, though, that Cyrus would join the Bismarck Fire Department. Before joining the fire department, he spent those eight years in the National Guard, responding to multiple natural disasters and even the Dakota Access Pipeline conflicts.
The person who wrote about Cyrus had many things to say about how great Cyrus is. He's one of the hardest working people you'll know and he puts others before himself. When he does have a little free-time, Cyrus enjoys hunting, fishing, and puzzles.
Do you love a first responder? You can submit a nomination here. Your nominee could be featured on our blogs, our stations, and potentially win a prize from Bismarck Heating & Air, 40 Steak & Seafood, and Peacock Alley.
