There is no better way to spend the 4th of July than with your family and friends watching fireworks. To celebrate American freedom, Bismarck-Mandan provides the community with two impressive fireworks displays.

  • Mandan Rodeo Days

It is tradition to end the Mandan Rodeo with a gigantic fireworks show. This year is no different.

The rodeo performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the BNSF Railway sponsored fireworks display at 11 p.m.

You will not be disappointed with the variety of designs and bright colors that light up the sky as patriotic music plays.

    Tickets on July 4th:
    Adults - $18
    Children (6-12) - $8
    6 & Under - Free

  • State Capitol

Enjoy a wonderful arrangement of music provided by the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra (BMSO) and catch one of the biggest fireworks shows in the area.

A pre-show will begin at 8 p.m. with music from Richard Torrence followed by the BMSO at 8:50 p.m. with an arrangement of patriotic tunes.

There will be a free-will offering but the event is free to attend. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The capitol provides a beautiful backdrop for the fireworks so people are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the lawn.
