Manhunt Continues for Minnesota Minister-Rapist
A manhunt is underway in Minnesota for a youth pastor who allegedly raped dozens of women and girls - after telling them that "God's word" justified the act.
The Star-Tribune reports Victor Barnard, former leader of a cultlike religious group, faces fifty-nine counts of sexual assaults - many involving girls as young as thirteen. One victim who came forward said in her case the rapes started when she was thirteen and continued over a period of nine years.
Another victim said that Barnard compared their relationship to that of Jesus and Mary Magdeline.
A nationwide warrant has been issued for Barnard's arrest. he is believed to be hiding in Washington state.
