Police: McKenzie Homicide Connected With Williston Shooting
Authorities believe the death of a Williston woman whose decomposed body was found in McKenzie County is connected to a recent fatal shooting in Williston.
KXMB News reports police found the body of Lindsay White Thursday night. Time of death has not yet been determined. A member of her family told KXMB Ms. White was a Fargo native who had moved to WIlliston a few months ago.
Her death is being treated as a homicide. The primary suspect as Jonah Hendricks, who killed himself after a shooting in Williston last week.A motive for the crimes was not given.
The body of Mr. Hendricks was found on the 18th from what was apparently a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say they were led to the area where the woman's body was found from an investigation into a targeted drive-by shooting that occurred in Williston on the 18th.
