Well, Is Our Governor Getting Ready To Make That Big Step?
Man, only a very few people know the real scoop on this question...
...I find myself very curious about the possibility though. Heck, I took a Political Science summer school class YEARS ago in College, you would think I would be aware of what it takes exactly to put yourself in the mindset to run for the President of the United States. This is something that OUR, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is reported to be considering.
Doug Burgum - The Governor of North Dakota since 2016
That to me is a pretty good track record, at the age of 66 years old, could this be the right time in his political career to run for President? Just a couple of months ago, back in March, the idea of him possibly running was brought up - according to the inforum "On paper, the timing would make sense. Burgum's current term, his second, expires next year. He cruised to an easy re-election in 2020 with over 65% of the vote. He consistently ranks among the most popular governors in the country . He's independently wealthy, which means he has the resources to operate a sophisticated campaign"
So how about it? I think it has a nice ring to it..."Ladies and Gentleman, The President of the United States"
Just a few weeks ago, Governor Doug Burgum told a political reporter from kfyrtv.com “No decisions have been made about 2024 at this time. We’re still completely focused on getting finished up with this legislative session right now" So I guess the old saying "Only time will tell" rings true to this story.
