Commentary: Oprah Endorses Junk “Science”

Recently, Oprah Winfrey picked up an honorary law degree from Harvard, and not everyone is happy about the message that sends. 

The story of Ms. Winfrey's rise to prominence is truly inspiring and admirable.  That being said, she has endorsed some ideas that can be positively dangerous.

In the words of one former Harvard dean: “It seems very odd for Harvard to honor such a high profile popularizer of the irrational."
