Women across the nation took to the streets over the weekend in a number of cities, including here in Bismarck.

KX News reported several hundred women - and men - came to the state capitol Saturday, as other groups in other cities did likewise.

Their message: they won't give up their hard-earned civil rights without a fight. In addition to womens' rights, many came out to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline and various proposals of the incoming administration.
