Medina-Area Shootout Remembered

This week marks the anniversary of the Medina-area shootout between tax-resister Gordon Kahl and federal authorities in which two U.S. Marshals were killed.  The Fargo Forum has one take on the story here.  Kahl fled to Arkansas where he was eventually killed.

Some people consider Kahl a hero, or a martyr.  Where do you stand?
