Williston Woman Shot In Walmart Parking Lot

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — Williston police say a woman suffered a gunshot wound to her leg after reports of shots fired at a Walmart parking lot.

The Williston Herald reports that police received the report at about 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say officers found the woman at a gas station with a gunshot wound to her thigh. She was transported to a Williston hospital.

Police have did not release the woman's name or the extent of her injuries.

Police say the shooing is still under investigation and they hope to release more information about the case on Tuesday.
